Any type of chlorine used produces the same effect; in addition to chlorine, algaecide is used to prevent algae from forming inside the pool. In order to make this treatment even simpler and more effective, floating or automatic chlorine dispensers can be used, which release the necessary quantities of product, ensuring precise and correct disinfection of the water. When it cleans water, chlorine comes into contact with other chemicals like nitrogen and ammonia that can cause skin infections; to avoid this, a so-called “Shock” dose is added once a week / two weeks, also called “Shock Chlorination” which eliminates any residual chlorine. Another factor that causes damage and infections to the skin and eyes is the pH of water that must be kept between 7.2 and 7.6 to make the chlorine “work” 10 times more effective. If the PH is high, as it happens many times, it is necessary to dilute in the water of the muriatic acid, with the pump of the swimming pool in operation and the water that circulates inside it, which lowers the PH level; we can say that in place of the liquid muriatic acid there is the one in granules that is safer as it is highly corrosive. In place of chlorine there is another substance that can be used: it is bromine, which is part of the same periodic group of chlorine (halogens), so it would be useless for those allergic to chlorine, considered by some owners of pools the better on the market even if the latter is relatively more expensive than chlorine, it is difficult to remove the smell from the skin and the costume; it is recommended to use it for small installations such as whirlpools and jacuzzis.
But before buying it, we have to evaluate some things: first of all, where to place the mini-pool, inside or outside; if it has been decided to place it outside it is necessary to make sure that the surface where the pool will be placed is able to bear the weight of 200 kg. The same concept applies if it is mounted inside. As a third option it is possible to install the built-in mini-pool where the side panels must not be removed because they have an important safety and energy saving function and near the panels there must be enough space to open them and carry out maintenance; then it is not unimportant, check the electrical and water connections and the water drainage channel, if the tank you buy is equipped with it.
Remember that even when you are not using the minipool, especially in winter, you should always take care of it by means of specific treatments, which will avoid that when the pool is required, it can not be used.
So after having read all the precautions to be taken to have the tank always working, safe, clean and disinfected, you just have to buy it and enjoy your pool in the summer season having fun with your friends, or with your children, with whoever you want!
